Then my attention shifts from Styx to another outfit who have regularly been the target of my derision ...

Kansas 'In the Spirit of Things'

This is one of those CD's that I have picked up cheap, out of curiosity and never quite got around to listening to before.

And waddayaknow - it is a very fine album. The follow up to 'Power' and again featuring Steve Morse on guitar. A solid, rocking effort this is, from a band who really know what they are doing.

Interesting to note Aurora's so ahead of the game that she had a lockdown hair style 3 years before the pandemic 😁

Oh and my last listening was an hour of Barbara Lynn and an hour of Sinead O'Connor via Tidal. Very different but there in lies one of the main attractions of streaming 👍

Mostly good, the title track and Star of Bethlehem are on the Amercan stars and bars album.

Tonight's utube experience is courtesy of The Rolling Old Farts. Do you wish you could move like Jagger ? I've seen a few try but fail miserably. Brian Jones was quite a looker but then so was Keith Richards and look what happened there.
