Ken Hensley, best known as Uriah Heep’s keyboard player and chief songwriter from 1970 to 1980, has died, following a short illness. He was 75.

OBIT
Very sad news. One of my favourite bands at their best with him in the line up. Some classic albums. R.I.P.

The Corona virus has done some good after all:

Peter Sutcliffe (74)
a.k.a The Yorkshire Ripper.

May he not rest in peace.

The 2nd time I went to HMP Leeds, I was walking through a basement cell area on my way to one of the wings, when the OSG escorting me said "That's Peter Sutcliffe's old cell."

The 5th time I went to HMP Leeds, my escort told me the same thing.

The 11th time I went to that prison I told the person escorting me "That's Peter Sutcliffe's old cell."

HMP Frankland, where Sutcliffe spent his last 4 years has a full furniture factory in it. They make some lovely Chesterfield type leather sofas in there.

Sutcliffe may have been put in the special separate psychiatric unit that they have in the top far right corner of HMP Frankland from the entrance.
I have a mate who was doing a job in that psychiatric unit a few years ago, when the person escorting him said "That was Ian Huntley that you just passed."

Frankland was one of those prisons with very high security levels. But always with a warm and co-operative and friendly attitude from the staff there.
