Kraftwerk tour 2016

Unread post by MarkWoody »

As Kraftwerk mentions seem to be on the increase, I thought some might be interested in their 2016 dates. A whole week at the Guggenheim in Bilbao, or another at the Oslo Opera. For me, rather tempted by the single Arena di Verona gig...

The sound and visuals should be mind-blowing if reports of previous concerts and the live album from 2005 is anything to go by. I wish I'd seen them when they came to Suffolk (snooty Southwold?) in 2013, I think it was.

They've been threatening a new album too for some years... In the meantime, I'm reading Wolfgang Flur's book 'I Was A Robot' which, even after just the first few pages, looks like it's going to be very interesting - how life in a secure band can all but imprison you to life outside of it. If you've ever been in a job for many many years and are then faced with life away or outside of it, you'll know the fears I speak of...
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...
