I bought 'The Whole Story' collection just to have 'Experiment IV', which is a great song.

And I really like '50 Words For Snow', a very intriguing album.

But, let's face it, 'Lionheart is just a duff set of leftovers from 'The Kick Inside'.

Are you for real? You read like a bunch of pervy old men. Kate Bush is a talented singer/songwriter. Why the sex angle?

Because we weren't old men when she started forty years ago now and as I said, she knew she had 'it' and used it (on screen especially) to best advantage...
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Kate was rather fond of the leotard in her early days! Caused quite a stir back then.

Here is a 20 min, Dutch TV special from 1978 of Kate performing in 'The Efteling' in Holland.
This is a fantasy theme park which inspired Walt Disney to build the first Disneyland. It is still an enormously popular attraction in The Netherlands and my wife worked there as a designer for some years.

Side 2 of Hounds of Love is an absolute masterwork imo from beginning to end, although there are standout songs after this. Was all this really half my life ago?

I'm with you kimangelis. I find this whole conversation more than a little bit creepy and sordid.
I think I might be in the HiFi trade.
I am not currently seeking treatment for this.

Thomas Dolby's Flat Earth is a great album IMHO, still listen to it now from time to time.
Another one of that era was Yello's first album You've go to say yes to another excess. A bit unusual but some very interesting ideas.
