.. and Hannes is lightning-fast on this Wednesday morning, also - he knows his classic ambient LP's. 
I first got hold of 'No Pussyfooting' when, as a teenager, I fished the cassette out of a bargain bin. Recognising the names of both Robert Fripp and Brian Eno (I had just discovered the mighty Crim back then) I got back home and put the tape on.
Weird! and that was an understatement. My 16-year-old self had never heard such strangeness: tape loops, drone guitar, dissonance, endless repetition. This music scrambled my brain completely and I don't think that I was ever the same again.
When I fire up my bass-rig, often one of the first things I do is to grab the E-bow, turn on the looper and make otherwordly noises that are still directly inspired by this monument to eccentricity.
Another recent (bargain) purchase has been the 3CD set of the Paris concerts that Fripp and Eno gave in 1975, apparently they were booed off-stage at one gig. Nowadays this sort of music is regarded with awe and respect.
