Bring out yer dead

Unread post by karatestu »

Nobody lives forever, even famous musicians.

Who are you really going to lament the passing of when it happens ? Lets face it none of us are getting younger and our idols are even older if they haven't passed already.

Just think, the whole of the Rolling stones are still alive, Paul Mcartney, Ringo Starr, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, Roger Daltrey, Sir Tom Jones, Pete Townsend, Elvis Presley....... Even Ozzy Osbourne is still alive.

Daltry's gone all Brexity-I'm-a-Tory-now, so he sort of counts as dead.

Pete Townshend was in favour of the UK remaining in the European Union. He reckons "I'm a Remainer, he [Roger Daltrey] is a Brexiteer. I believe in God, he doesn’t

Oh yeah, I like the 'orrible 'oo, up to Who Are You. I sort of lost interest after that. I keep meaning to take a listen to their latest album, "Who," mostly because it's got Gordon Giltrap on one track.

Out of Stu's few, I reckon, I will miss Elvis Presley most, when he finally passes on. The King is not dead, just resting his eyes.
