I am making a few source and DAC upgrades over the next couple of weeks and am considering upgrading my LS5 to LS6. Practically, what are the differences between the cables?

As you've found out. Physically, very little. Mostly just a different identifying colour tape.

I'm having an evening of working my way through Camel's back catalogue. Albums I know and love. The addition of LS6 to the rig suddenly reveals new details I've never noticed before - like the vocals on the outro of 'Summer Lightning' from Breathless. Well, this cable is certainly taking my breath away.
