Excuse me for being a bit thick but why is anyone in the slightest bit worried if Scotland buggers off. Surely it is their decision so why are we in the rest of the UK getting involved. I seriously couldn't give a toss if they go or stay. I don't see England Wales or N Ireland being affected apart from the irritation of getting disentangled.

I see ALL the problems being on Scotland's side and I seriously hope that given the split that they don't come running home crying when it all goes wrong, or they think we are obliged to bail them out. I would be very happy to think of Scotland as another S Ireland if that is what they want.

Apart from taking the piss for entertainment sake on both sides like Jammy and I have been doing I see no reason for us English to get involved.

If Scotland does split from the Union, do we the have to re-classify the Scottish living south of the boarder as immigrants, and can we deport them?

Are you sure? Could be the Pennines. Don't forget what we knew as the Berlin Wall/Iron Curtain was known in the Bloc as the Anti-Fascist Protection Barrier.
