A fact that had passed me by is that Trump was the first president in over 100 years not to have a pet in the White House, unless you count Mitch The Mutant Minger Turtle, obviously.

Yet another reason to dislike the obnoxious orange narcissist.

Maybe Greek philosophers like Socrates were right when they said that democracies were inherently unstable because people couldn't be trusted to pick wise leaders.
I mean look at the clown, we’ve got to put up with for four more fecking years.

From the Indy 100

‘Boris Johnson appears to be trying to woo Joe Biden in the hopes of getting a US trade deal before the end of the Brexit transition period.
But a former Obama aide and ally of the president-elect isn't going to be swayed that easily.
On Saturday, Johnson posted a congratulatory graphic on Twitter.
He wrote that the US is the UK's "most important ally" and said that he looks forward to "working closely together on our shared priorities".
In response, the Obama aide described Johnson as a "shapeshifting creep".
Damning.’

Personally I’m quite prepared to eat turnip for the rest of my natural, to have the pleasure of seeing the lying bastard chewed up and spat out by the Biden administration.

They will not forget his insults, aimed at Obama, and Hilary Clinton, or his refusal to apologise when given the opportunity.

I keep saying it, but I really think that a major component of any trade deal with the US is going to be Johnson's resignation.

Biden and his teams are pragmatists. They may feel they can get a tiny bit of leverage from it, but it always comes down to 'the money'. They will work with anyone if the money is right.

Johnson's bigger worry is that he is now likely to be 3rd in the queue behind Merkel and Macron. Not a good look.

Any C19 vaccine should be tested on politicians first. If they survive , the vaccine is safe.

If they don't, then the country is safe
