I don't think our money is in that one, that is only Euro countries paying that.

Yes, that is the 'euro-zone' countries being forced to subsidise the weakest economies. Not the EU or the UK.

Big cause of annoyance over here.

You are wrong about that Zebbo. Our contribution to the Greek bailout is via the IMF.

Remember the IMF had to bail us out in the 1970's.

Well about 3 weeks to go, and its all getting a bit naughty out there in the political world. :guiness;
Loads of :bulls1: and mud slinging from both camps, I will be right glad when its all over and we can get down to the serious business of filling our supermarket shelves with bent bananas again. :banana-guitar: :banana-ninja: :banana-guitar:

But Jammy listen to your Scottish political bosses, they think they have the perfect situation. They want to stay in the EU, BUT if the vote is out when Scotland has voted in then they say they have the excuse to run that :Bllocks: independence vote again. If that happens hopefully we will help you on your way with kick up the arse, put the border posts in, and kick all the Scots in England oooot. Try and find them all jobs up there, we can then replace them with Ozs and Canucks, civilised at last :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Per usual you can make more sense out of what is happening at the moment from history. So an analogy.

The creation of the Republic - The creation of the Common market
The war to try and enforce it (Napoleon) - The desire to create the European state
The implacable British opposition - The lone fight
Going too far in imposition of authority and too much bloodshed - Pushing the European model too far east and south to cultures and societies not ready.
Defeat by the Brits and Prussians and the eastern rebellion brings an end to the first republic - The Euro, misbalanced economies and immigration kills the EU state and it withdraws to a rump.

BUT the idea lives on.

This is going to happen which ever way around we vote, it is just history repeating itself as the nature of the people involved are not being understood and have not changed, and it is being forced.
