I still have a British passport but regard myself as a European citizen. If Britain leaves the EU then I would have to change my nationality.

Aside from the many benefits to trade, human rites and freedom of movement there is the small matter of WAR or should I say the peace, which has been enjoyed between member nations for some time now.

Out of EU = regression.
Moving forward with EU = Progression.

I guess it'll be a yes from me then !!!

Can you tell your friend Nicola Sturgeon that before she uses UK leaving as an excuse for independance? Of course they won't let Scotland join anyway LOL.

You will be bankrupt and crying for help within a few years. Personally the only independence I think would work is for London and the South East up to Cambridge in the north and Oxford in the west to tell the rest of the country to piss off. Then it would make sense for that bit to leave the EU as we would largely usurp the position held by Switzerland if we did. Now I am not saying that is a good thing just being a realist.

The other option is for England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland to become the 51, 52, 53, 54th states of the United States. No one ever talks about this. Is that better or worse than what we are heading into with Europe if we don't get opt outs.
