The BBC show one was hilarious but had no logic, the dafter the replies the better. There is a real version of the game that they took their version from. I wanted us to play that one.

THE RULES FOR HFS "MORNINGTON CRESCENT"

1 The winner of the last game has the priv' of selecting the start point for the new game.
2 You select a road anywhere within the London Boroughs (Google Maps is your friend)
3 Anyone can then select a road that connects to that road
4 You can try and make the game last for ever by going off in the opposite direction or you can try and make roads aim for your destination, Mornington Crescent.
5 No road can be repeated within each game.
6 You have to plan or trick someone to giving a road that connects to Mornington Crescent, be the first to see it and post - MORNINGTON CRESCENT

There is an alternative that maybe more fun, starting with a road in Cornwall or similar and trying to get to Jammy. Winner is the one who gets to PORTKNOCKIE and shouts "FORKING DEER"  This wouldn't be names of roads but A? B? M? etc

We could do it with tube stations but we are doing it with roads so Aldgate East Station is in Whitechapel High St and connects to Commercial Road. So we are looking at Whitechapel High Street

Ah, I was assuming it was the more "complete" version that accepted landmarks and Tube Stations as well. I'll stick with the 'big' ones then, for the benefit of those who haven't worked all around the City Area Leman Street.

Extra point for who can get us to the nearby "Duck and Waffle" pub for a pint as it is warm in London.

I'm invoking the 'Trump Mexican Gambit' and have walled off Bishopsgate - meaning you have to eat a burrito in the first Mexican restaurant you see.
