I couldn't give a feck what he is portrayed as - I observe, and I observe a joke, a fantasy merchant floating around in clouds of unreality being dictated to by some seriously nasty people in the far left and the unions. In his case he should wear a red head not nose. We have had it ALL before, the Labour party it seems never learns, last time it allowed Thatcher to run the country for a decade due to a lack of credible opposition, they just don't learn. As I say the proof is that Hatton has crawled out of the undergrowth again.

Many a fine word falls foul of reality! Per usual the only way to make the extremes of politics work is via a dictatorship, it cannot be voted in unless as a reaction to a disaster / war / invasion of immigrants, etc, and then it has to become a dictatorship to stay in power. History has proved this, so do you want a dictatorship?

You seem to be challenging a perceived dogma with your own dogma ;)

All that matters in politics is power and policies . Legislation is the only thing that counts , that rest is bollocks .

I share the view that anybody who expresses the slightest inclination to go into politics should immediately be banned, for life, from doing so.

So democracy is just an excuse to pretend you have an electorate.
