Re: Cats & Hifi
I had a Beard Audio P35 for a little while a few years back. It was warming up nicely when I went to make a cup of tea. When I returned there was a very strange smell and a few of the valves were glowing bright orange! It transpired that one of my moggies had bloody pissed on it !!
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Benz Micro Gullwing SLR, Phono 2, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)
Re: Cats & Hifi
My kitty uses the speakers as a base for jumping to shelves higher on...
Luckily I've had metal grills made so none of the drivers can get damaged in the process - and there have been a few occasions where he would have riped them apart probably.
He's lost interest in crawling behind the amps and playing with the LS5 cables though

It's matter of some pride that we have a man more intelligent than professor Cox as a member of this forum.

Re: Cats & Hifi
Two weeks now since i was fortunate enough for the Blue Cross to present me with this maladjusted moggie..
She's a real handful and hasn't had the best of life thus far, but i'll do the best i can to make her life infinitely better
As for "cats & Hi-Fi" she genuinely loves music and can be found sticking her daft head in one of the speaker ports
Unfortunately she doesnt have a new name yet, i was thinking of "Dusty" but not sure it suits?
Any ideas are welcome
*excuse the rats nest of wires, it's not setup properly yet
