Foxes are cool 8-)

Although its a shame they are lured to the towns (And prosper) due to the amount of garbage folks leave lying at their arse...... :naughty: :hand:

Most of the problems humans blame wildlife for is in fact created by "humanity" itself. Wildlife is in most cases simply trying its best to clean up after us dirty lazy B'stards have made a mess everywhere.

I too like foxes and came to be standing less than 2meters from one at our local amenity dump, it was casually watching me whilst I was unloading the car and placing stuff in the allotted skip. Once it had enough of me it trotted off quietly into the wilderness beyond.

Everyone should just put waste food in an open container in the garden and you will get a fox as a friend and he will stop ripping open you bags as there will be no food smell from them.

The only problems a farmer has is civilised people want to stop him killing them. Either with dogs for fun on horseback or just shooting them. The only farmers who object are those who have introduced a stupid creature to their land called a Pheasant, so he can shoot them or sell the right to shoot them. Pheasants are so stupid it is like Fox Christmas. The Fox was there before the Pheasant and the farmer. The farmer has already got rid of the Wolf and the Boar in recorded history, and the Bear before that. Do we have to kill off everything, until nature decides it is us that should be killed off.

 Hear hear. Farmers with livestock who husband their flocks appropriately will never have any problems with foxes.

Given the number of foxes that become road accident victims I would be surprised if there is any need to control numbers.
