Normally I am an avid watchers, somehow today I just do not want to know. I am just not interested in what is being said by people I do not want to listen to - sad ain't it.

You're not alone. I nearly always watch the news at lunchtime and devour all of the news subsections on the "red button" while watching it, plus the sport, but today...meh! Read the "red button" stuff with the volume turned down as Drumpf (accompanied by his lovely immigrant trophy wife Melanoma) really are starting to make America grate again.

There was a time when news was brought to us by great men, men who were revered. In the present day, the media is a 24/7 news cycle driven juggernaut which no longer seeks to inform but to control and influence.
