USA meldown

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Is the USA in a state of crisis and semi revolution. It seems to be escalating by the day - worrying times!

Rumour has it that Trump has been appointed chief recruitment officer for fundamental terrorist Muslim groups.

It ought to be rememembered that nothing is more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things. Because the innovator has for enemies all those who have done well under the old conditions, and lukewarm defenders in those who may do well under the new. This coolness arises partly from fear of the opponents, who have the laws on their side, and partly from the incredulity of men, who do not readily believe in new things until they have had a long experience of them.

(Warning extreme example)

So nothing wrong with Hitler we just had to get used to him.

Machiavelli's the prince was written in the 16th Century and does of course recommend killing your enemies all at once and is supposed to be the influence of hitlers "knight of the long knives" As I said to my politics lecturer "why am I reading this bollocks"

I am awaiting till Trump finds out you cannot sack a supreme court judge , his head will explode.

We have been waiting for years for Marco's head to explode. The trouble with complete egotists, is everyone else is wrong and they are certain of it, I just hope Trump has some wise heads around him he *has* to listen to. Marco now and Hitler then didn't have any.

Hubris is the official word for it.

Don't forget Kristallnacht, DQ, a repeat of which is, I fear, equally likely if the divide between pro and anti Trump supporters keep widening.

Also, I wonder if high court judges in the U.S. can sue for constructive dismissal?

I don't think he is mentally ill, it is personality problems.

Looks like Steve Barron is directing Trump into an all-out world war against Islamic nations. And he is piling on the shock-waves in the US to totally destabilise the entire political establishment.

Just when you think it can't get worse - it does!
