500? That's more than enough. They only had 300 at Thermopylae. As long as there aren't any hunchbacks to show them the route to get around the back of us, we should be OK. Do any members feel as if they've been "fighting in the shade" - with regard to factions outside this forum?

HFS feels like a village rather than a busy city that is a mass of anonymity..

In a village you can stroll around, say hi, pass the time of day with a discussion (sometimes heated) and in the evening everyone ends up in the pub for a laugh.

Things might appear, to an outsider, to be rather isolationist/elitist here, but it is a matter of safeguarding the openness and honest exchange of views away from the pressures of commerciality or trolling idiots just wanting to amuse themselves by annoying others.

The world of Hifi forum is very strange and HFS is a pleasant place to visit
A breath of fresh air. A bit off the beaten track.
Let's keep it that way.

Royston vasey is clearly snake oil audio , who I see now count cagey as a member . The man who stated that he doesn't slag people off is using a holiday photo of the doc and criticising the NHS for spending money keeping him alive .

It is always satisfying when the people you target for posting bollocks prove themselves to be the miserable arseholes you always suspected they were .

It would be interesting to compare active membership to AOS and Pink Fish. There appears to be the same small number of regular posters (especially AOS) in spite of the far larger membership. I imagine when they read Marco's smutty posts they bolt for the door.
