Who is going to do the TAS test for us ? Make them show their real colours one way or the other.

The Sex Pistols' God Save the Queen was banned from airplay by the BBC. Helping to propel it to number 1 in the charts.

The idea that there are a plethora of readers who would read hfs but can't find it , is bullshi.t

Likewise I believe Marcos notice on AOS attracts people to HFS out of curiosity as a forbidden fruit. Can't see TonyL doing the same thing. Won't happen on WasWam as it would take up too much advertising space.

Most people currently find us either when they buy (or think of buying NVA) or through curiosity driven by 'interesting' threads at other hifi forums. There is a determined effort by other forum owner to cut off the supply of the latter.

The number of new people who want to join in here is likely to be quite small, I agree. However, a greater number would likely be interested to read the forum fairly regularly (lurkers), and a greater number still, I'd suggest, would be interested to read a series of articles written by The Doc. Even if just 3 or 4 of those lurkers / readers went on to become regularly contributing members here then that would be a noticeable and worthwhile increase.

The small technical changes required to make us more visible in search results are quick, easy and free to implement and won't compromise the content or nature of the forum. We're not really in the plethora business ;) but why make it unnecessarily difficult for people to find us?

Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2018 6:02 pm Another way would be to talk about NVA on forums where we are allowed to be talked about. TAS claim so, but I see excuse made to censor us, so someone try start an NVA thread about a product you like or similar and see if they allow it.

Other forum like What Hi-Fi, The Crossover Network, AVForums, HiFiKabin and loads of others seem to be open to us. I am unsure about Wigwam, they say we are not banned but posts and threads seem to disappear, probably smothered and choked by a badly stained duvet.
Hoffman Forum is a good place. You got at least one customer after I recommended the Phono 2 there.
