Hey he's knicked my best jumper. If there was a nuclear war and food became short i think i would be ok. I am closer to mother nature than most and could probably do a good impression of Ray Mears
I'm only a part timer . Have other business interests too. But, oh how i hanker for a simple life. No electric would mean having to power my music system with cow pats
There is much to be said for being simple

Cow pat power. Now I wonder what that would do to the sound. The bass would probably be a bit bloated I think.

The animal world is full of interesting noises low 7 high pitched.
Cow pat audio as a name has not been used yet. I can see my chance.
Plenty of farmers around here have anaerobic digesters that use green waste or energy crops to turn in to gas. Gas powered hifi is the future One farmer I know has converted a large field in to a solar farm.
Hardly back to basics though is it. I need to work out a way of powering hifi directly from cow pats

Re: For Stu - a real farmer.
I was thinking todày how lucky i was growing up on a farm. Acres of space in the fields and overgrown areas surrounding of the farm stead. I spent most of my days outside or siting in my dads tractors. Summer holidays were the best, riding on the combined harvester or tractor and when i was old enough driviing them myself. I lived for it and my dad was my hero. God rest dad.
