It doesn’t matter what Johnson does or how bad things get because the media did such a good job on Corbyn that ‘imagine how much worse it would have been under Labour’ will just run and run.

That statement backhandedly acknowledges how disastrous Johnson has been, and is therefore a statement of guilt on the part of those who say it after having voted for him.

The man is now Teflon. Don’t hold your breath for an enquiry worth its salt. Thoroughly depressing.
Those who voted for this shower of a government, are wholly and completely responsible for where we are now.

It's OK, kids. Panic over. Gavin Williamson hath proclaimed that there is "little evidence" COVID spreads in schools.

www.theguardian.com/world/2020/aug/10/little-evidence-covid-spreads-in-schools-says-gavin-williamson

Allow me, for a moment, to do something I rarely do, and that's to agree with Gavin Williamson.

I am prepared to believe that there is, indeed, little evidence that COVID spreads in schools. The reason I am in agreement with my mate Gavin, good old dependable Gav, is because SCHOOLS HAVEN'T BEEN OPEN, SO OF COURSE THERES LITTLE EVIDENCE YOU GORMLESS FEKKIN' TWATBUCKET, WILLIAMSON.

There, I think that covers it.

Even the most die hard Tory must be embarrassed by the never ending stream of woeful decisions made by Boris and his cabinet. The utterly hapless Gavin Williamson has finally been forced to do the right thing after trying so hard for so long to do the wrong thing. Then PHE is abolished and a new powerful agency formed to replace it combining PHE & the track and trace program and to no one's surprise the consistently failing Tory loving Dido Harding gets the job of running it ( maybe interim maybe not) I wouldn't trust her to run a bath, she might well have a classic good education & good connections but she is a proven failure. Let's hope the electorate remember all of this when the next election comes around.

The abolition of PHE is part of the strategy for shifting the blame away from the Government. The total incompetece and ineptitude in response to the pandemic owes a lot to Brexit. Anyone with any capability, ie remainers, are barred from high office if they have any principles. We are left with muppets only concerned with furthering their careers unde the clown and his puppet master who was permitted to ignore the lockdown.
