Going back some time I seem to recall drinking a beer called Palm when I was in Tilberg.. Is it still going? I don't think I came across it in Amsterdam.

Palm is another thoroughly enjoyable Belgian beer that is in every supermarket and off-licence.

Mainly homebrew since Covid - has kept me occupied at home and surprisingly good results.
Highly recommend St Peter's Cream Stout, made three batches so far and has been consistently excellent (sorry that sounds arrogant, but it's true).
If buying then St Austell "proper job" - £1.50/bottle in various supermarkets, bargain :guiness;

I've been on holiday in the Scottish Highlands and have been boozing all week. Just got back and cracked open a lager. No hope for me coz tomorrow is the weekend. :guiness; :guiness; :guiness;

It is clear to me now why the Scots have a reputation for heavy boozing. It's always pissing it down.
