Those SN10's are incredibly cheap and make a mockery of other Chinese or far eastern imports that can sell for so much more. A perfect specimen for Doc Mods as the upper mid takes off even more than the NS10 'original' judging by a review I saw . If you over do the doping, replacement drivers are very cheap I think (without checking). The 8" main driver should allow ample room for delving inside as well ;)

I like Studiospares. Good range of stuff stocked and I don't think they charge hideous amounts either.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Forgive my ignorance, Richard. What do you mean by driven hard?

Drive = level of voltage and current delivered into the load.

High = greater than normal.

I've only ever owned five pairs of speakers, two of which I'm still using.

Goodmans RB35 (given away after bass unit blew)
Mordaunt Short MS20s (in a cupboard somewhere)
Castle Chesters (sold)
Audiovector Mi3 Signatures in downstairs system
Harbeth P3ESRs in upstairs system
