It is ludicrous to claim any universal truth .As it simply means that it is truth throughout the known universe for all of time . Even scientists would not go so far as to the laws of nature as a universal truth , hell , they are are even suggesting the speed of light will have and will in the future differ

That is was the point of ridiculing someone who claims a lot of what he says is universally true .

maths is a codified system of rules and logic , it as no purchase on the real world for its validity and it does not rely on the physical universe for its validity. It contains no truths only logical propositions . It makes no sense to talk about the truth of maths .
