My first single?
The first ones were about 50 of them. As part of a job lot of ebayed records. 1000 for £35. That was a good job lot. Around about 2005.
The 50 x 12" singles included Madonna, Wishbone Ash, Grace Jones, Thompson Twins, The Bangles etc
There is a certain magic about 1980's mainstream 12" singles.

'Abbey Road' by The Beatles. Not at the time of its original release but probably in about 1975, when I was 12, and started thinking about buying my own music rather than simply raiding my older brother's collection when he was out. Cost me £2.29, I recall, from Parrot Records in Colchester. Happy days.
