Combined LP, CD, Speakers

Unread post by tweet_my_ribbon »

My father has a all-in-one record player/CD/cassette/speakers. Basically a crappy unit that has become hard to use. Looking around with a budget of around £150 I see lots of overpriced junk out there.
The new unit needs to be easy to operate with legible buttons. He already has a FM/DAB radio.
Does anyone have a suggestion on a good unit or will more money need to be soent ? I was looking atr a TEAC jobbie but have no experience of TEAC.
Thanks.

(NVA all-in-one music box ?)
NVA amps, speakers, interconnects & speaker cables produce the music.

With help from Technics, Audio Technica, Jelco, Hana, Musical Fidelity, Sony, Cyrus & Soneteer.

I'd look at Ebay for a used B&O Beocenter,

Make sure the thing is still in working condition though.

I've had a number of Denon DM series but there3's no LP. Also comes with remote. Sound is pretty good and teamed up with budget speakers, they were easy to listen to. Not sure if you could pick up a 2nd hand one for that sort of money?
Blusound Vault 2, P50SA, A80's, BMU, TIS, LS7, MA PL200, Meridian 506 (18 bit).

Thanks for the suggestions. On browsing the web I was tempted to put together a small seperates hi-fi system with Denon and even looked at the B&O vintage stuff.. Fortunately came to my senses and have ordered a new all-in-one box with record player, CD, FM/AM, cassette and speakers. Exactly what my dad wants.
As long as it spins his jazz and classical music he's happy.

What did you buy exactly ?

I still think about hooking up my Yamaha kx580se cassette deck and digging my tapes out.
