That's relevant to this vignette of knowledge how? I'll give you a clue. I would own it regardless. This test is about what to put in it.

And I paid £89 for a 6l bath and £55 for a 5 lp rotary machine. These prices are no longer available because everybody is buying one, but I still think you could get one for less than £250.

The question is relevant because, although you already have one other people may see the cost of running the experiment, like the look of the results but fail to realise that they need to buy the machine as well. Unfortunately this does happen, I have seen it but not on here.

The enzyme cleaner that I'm going to compare the record cleaner to as arrived.

The instructions are very clear, unlike the record cleaner. The most interesting is that you must leave the cleaner on for at least half an hour.

So. Conclusions so far.

Record cleaner enzymes are not unique. They are the same as used in cleaners of stains, fabric and drains.

They require at least half an hour to work.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread, as the results will be interesting.
I have been contemplating buying some enzyme cleaner for vinyl, but I shall wait and see now.

As I understand it enzyme toothpastes are supposed to supplement the enzymes which are already present in saliva. The enzymes are not there to remove stains but to encourage microbial production of hydrogen peroxide in the mouth, which enhances gum and tooth health:
https://www.nature.com/articles/srep43344
At present, research suggests that they have no greater effect on gum and tooth health than regular brushing with a Fluoride toothpaste:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2498397/

Mind you, it's a good tag line for advertisers.

Glad to see that you have taken on board my point regarding "dwell time" ;)
