This is decent as a stand alone CD ripper / storage / network player (it has an onboard DAC) and can be upgraded, later, by adding a network bridge and / or an external DAC. I started that way, and mine is still going strong after 8 years - I now just use it as attached storage / server to my MicroRendu streamer and RME DAC.

Re: CD player with memory
You can just use an old / 2nd hand laptop with a CD/DVD drive.
Install EAC or DbPowerAmp for ripping, Foobar 2000 for playback
and a USB HDD or NAS for extra storage.
USB out to a DAC and you are up and running.

Re: CD player with memory
I'm probably too lazy for that setup. Was looking at one box solutions and found a neat little 'aurender Caching Music Server / Streamer with USB Output CD Ripper / Metadata Editor / Dual-HDD Storage / Library Manager.' Then I noticed the price. £6,900. Ouch !
NVA amps, speakers, interconnects & speaker cables produce the music.

Re: CD player with memory
Could it be connected to NVA P20 with a RCA to 3.5mm interconnect ? Or is it USB out only ?savvypaul wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 5:19 pm This is decent as a stand alone CD ripper / storage / network player (it has an onboard DAC) and can be upgraded, later, by adding a network bridge and / or an external DAC. Re: CD player with memory
Mine has standard RCA outputs, on the back, for connecting directly to a pre-amp / integrated amp. I would ask Audiostore, to be certain, but I'd be surprised if that's not the case now.tweet_my_ribbon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 7:24 pmCould it be connected to NVA P20 with a RCA to 3.5mm interconnect ?
