More NVA board shenanigans.

I’ve just completed another NVA based project using another pair of RD’s boards:

I bent up 1.5mm aluminium, added filtered power inlet, sockets on the rear and mounted a 30-0-30V, 300VA toroidal transformer.

Power supply under construction, with a pair of 10,000uF SuperTech, slit-foil capacitors:

Boards mounted, ground bus installed and power transistors bolted to thick alloy plate, which makes use of the case as a heatsink.

Inputs are cap-coupled using green Nichicon Muse bipolar electrolytics and the outputs have the traditional 10 Ohm/100nF Zobel network across them.

Thanks guys.
Spent a couple of days rearranging the inside, starting with this adjustable sub-assembly, intended to allow the volume and selector switch to be moved to the rear of the case. There had been a slight hum, caused by my rather silly oversight of putting the mains transformer too near the input selector and volume control.

The name is a bit of an homage to Richard, who would probably not have been best pleased at me using coupling caps on the inputs and a Zobel network on the speaker outputs of his boards
