Techy Cart

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Got a bargain off ebay a couple of days ago. Usual thing, because no expert or forum egotist is wanking it then the poor guy can't sell it. Well I knew how good it was and waited until it was about to end and made him an offer - got it for $250(£165) inc shipping from Japan. This cart is up there musically with the best SPU's and Decca's  And it doesn't need a headshell

Nice cartridge - Neat and clever design for negating the use of a headhell.........

Now if only Goldring could do the same for their 1042 mm.

I got a Mk 4 one of these for my PL 71 but it needs a rebuild when I get some funds. Probably ask Dominic at NWA to do it. That's a great price btw they go for a lot more than that usually.
I believe they do a universal one without a headshell but rare as hens teeth is understating it. However the EPC 100 is apparently the one to go for but are serious dosh.
