What would you think the best way to fit a balanced mains with a regen unit would be?

OK lets look at this with electronic logic.
You have an electronic doo-dah that is capable of drawing 1w max. You want to put a 110ohm resistor in front of it for some reason. You don't have 110ohm res but you have 100ohm 10w and 10ohm 5w so you series them to make 110ohm - with me so far? Now according to your logic you have to put the 100ohm in front of the 10ohm otherwise the 10ohm will strangle what the 100ohm is doing if its in front. Now do you understand me as what you are saying makes as much sense.
I don't know which will be the best way as it will be a subjective decision that I have been trying to get him (Sov) to come to for days if not weeks.

My logic:
The Regen unit makes sure 230V gets to your kit by regenerating it.
It provides output of 1.5KVA to your kit via its output terminals/sockets
High KVA = low impedance. (a good thing)
AG1500 max output is 1.5KVA fed to BPS hence max output from BPS= max input from AG1500
;which is 1.5KVA, which is less than 2KVA from balanced mains...hence not the lowest impedance possible.

You still don't see it, nothing is going to strangle nothing. 500va would be more than enough for a normal hi-fi so why would either strangle either. OK one is more overkill than the other. So the overkill is to decrease the source impedance hence my analogy with resistors - do you see now.

Ah, ok.
Was just going on the theory that a lowest impedance input to the hifi (as the combination of the bps and regen that preceeds it) would be the best setup.
Didnt want to minimise the overkill and raise the impedance...
In reality, its all subjective to me and Id consider the regen if the sound changed later at night for the better like it used to.
With the balanced mains in it seems consistent.
Which is good.
