Re: The Speaker Cables
I have to say I thought LS7 was a significant step up from LS6 and well worth the money I know they are expensive but not compared to some well know other makes

For that sort of money, I'd say the upgrade represents seriously good value.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:
Gromit has 5m set of LS7 which would cost him £1600.00. If he could reorganise his listening room to get the system to between the speakers then 2m set would do which would be £700.00
I'm still trying to get the right words/phrases to describe what the '7' effect is but I had this slightly (abstract - sorry!) thought today. Imagine music is being funneled down a tube but that tube is actually a wee bit too narrow to allow all the lovely sounds to bounce around at will. They then often collide with eachother and it ruins the sense of order and chaos is the result. LS7 makes the tube much, much bigger and all these lovely musical 'things' get the chance to float around in their own space without any constriction. Apologies for sounding like I've gone off on one, but I think that's what it seems to do?
Well it does for me anyway and I flippin' love it.

Well browsed through a few albums but apart from the one track I couldn't understand a word, sounds nice though.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Please listen to Bebel Gilberto her voice is beautiful.

Re: The Speaker Cables
Its Portuguese, well the Brazilian version of it. I also find her rather sensuous.

Re: The Speaker Cables
Just to clarify the pricing - per cable or per stereo pair?

Re: The Speaker Cables
I supplied him these for beta test before I realised how much he was in MCRUs pocket, so was lucky to get this good a rec. The reason I supplied them is I was getting very pissed off with all the TQ shilling on multiple forums (it has quietened down now with cables being sold 2nd hand as is usual with all flavours of the month) and I wanted a customer comparison.
