That's rather lovely Anesthetise, it reminds me in equal parts of Sigur Rós and Isao Tomita. I thought the ending was rather contrived though.

Yeah, it's big, as most of productions coming from Stroboscopic Artefacts. Their leader, Lucy, released a brilliant dark album (his 2nd longplay) with outstanding use of industrial samples called Churches Schools and Guns this year.

Italian scene got quite loud recently, there is Mas Teeveh's Dreamlike Flow, sounds exactly how it's titled

Donato Dozzy & Nuel's aquatic compilation of underwater-like ambient soundscapes, some tracks use tribal drums to get it going.

Anyway, I suggest checking the newest Moodymann's [self titled] album. Very funky, warm and jazzy stuff

A little update
2014 seems like a fantastic year for techno. There are so many releases that perfectly fit my needs, I can't even count them! I like it with deep ambient, warm dubby sound, and a little psychedelic -not really dancey type, but this constant 4/4 rhythm makes me jump out of my seat quite often  It's lovely how this kind of music evolved from raw loops powered by sequencer rhythms in late 80s to what we have now, there are so many influences, especialy from traditional african drums and oriental sounds! The best way is to check it by yourself, so there you go:

Enjoy the sea of sound

Here's a mix of classic polish songs from communist era ('45-'89) in nu-disco cuts. Very groovy and jazzy, highly reccomended!

I've seen ads for their new album all over the place and now I think I need to have a listen to it after hearing some of those tracks. Great synth sounds.

"Lighthouse" made me cry yesterday
Last time I've had that feeling when I first heard King Crimson's Epitaph.

The synths coming in at 1:41 should be BANNED! :(

Just a bit if ambient I've been messing around with, and this seemed as good a place as any to post it.
Excuse the quality, I had to kick it to MP3, and it's originally mixed for speakers a lot bigger than those on yer bog standard computer. .
