It's one of these - and it is a joy to play. The great thing is it comes with a shoulder strap which allows you to rotate it and play it also as a Bass guitar.

Nice looking instrument. The only guitar amp I was involved with is the Redmere when I was at PA:CE in the late 70's, which has become a bit of a hens teeth hunted down classic.

This gives a full breakdown of the beast and as far as I know about 50 were made before PA:CE went bust. PA:CE stood for Parmee Acoustics : Collins Electromagnetics. Dick Parmee was a genius straight out of Cambridge Uni. Dave Collins was an old flight case and PA speaker fabricator, and they got together. After the company failed Dick went into computers with a new company on computerised product / production testing and made a fortune. Dave was always a bit of a depressive and he sadly committed suicide.
The point of Redmere was to make a single combo that could mimic all the other famous ones. You could literally switch from Fender to Vox to Marshall to Orange etc having preset the channels at the flick of a switch, it was solid state but emulated valve sound very well.

My Randall RBA 500 is very humble in comparison. Good amps, like good guitars and basses, are all works of art.

I just recently found Nva products and this forum. At the moment I use ls1, ssp mk1 digital ic and ssc ic cables. Recently bought ssp mk1 ic to replace ssc. Maybe some point in the future I might even buy amp/s as well. Seems that Nva products have pretty good value for the money. Now I have Rega tt, Heed obelisk amp with phono card, Heed obelisk dt cd transport, Zero dac and System Audio speakers.
