I do see your point.

I agree don't buy, but not sure what effect throw away has.

You know, I'm now starting to agree with you here after being so trusting over the decades. Even the supposedly 'nicer' audio company owners all seem to have agendas and if they have their own forum sites, woe betide anyone who rocks their little boat. I'm not thinking HFS here, but definitely two others along with the Linn and Naim sites, all full of sycophants with no knowledge or experience of their own...
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Yup, that is the current Hi-Fi industry in a box. Ivor started it, Julian followed, others have seen how easy it is to brainwash idiots and now it is almost the norm.

Thankfully not all hi-fi enthusiasts are idiots.

Alfi wrote:That's a very honorable offer Doc, I am tempted but I recall you and I had a disagreement over the LP12 and possibly the chassis I was selling to improve it. I think we exchanged some pretty terse words at the time ? But I do not bear grudges with those I have come to respect.

I still believe my chassis improves the Sondek significantly. I have my own (crappy) website and a room on the Crossovernetwork with some followers. :) Website will be improved when I retire from full-time employment next June :grin:

Apologies for going off track in my reply as this thread should be about our friend Colin W. :guiness;

Alfi.
I don't understand the relevance of this post, if you want a room ask for it, I disagree and argue with loads of people - so what!

A poor one.

Were products once backed by the man himself ?

If so why should they not still be good?

As for the TQ cable I really enjoyed it in my system for a while.

We should ask Colin to sign them and we'll raffle them for his legal fund.

Who is saying they are not good. I am lead to believe being a white man in 1970s south Africa was good as well.

Again totally inappropriate and irrelevant Dan. You're making the items to be like blood diamonds.

Either Colin stands by the product and it's worth having or not and they're worthless.

As I'm intending to sell the ones I have its a fair question I think
