Are the headphones AKG K701 ???

Shane - How does the K701 sound with the AP10H?
I like my K601 but they feel like they need some serious grip from the amp to get some life into them.

Second power supply in place for Phono 2. I did have difficulty positioning two supplies far enough from the stage not to cause bad hum, so a rearrange of the rack has been necessary. All I can say is the improvement has been on an unexpected scale. Will do a review later after more extensive listening.

The NVA drives my AKG K701's fine. Plenty enough grip on the tune to keep it in place, and good bass control.

The 701's are set in their ways! Naturally lean, and neutral sounding headphones. If the recording is good, they will reward your ears. Slightly reminds me of a Stax.
