I think the new Marillion album is quite decent but does not compare with the albums they made up to "Radiation". Saw them last Saturday for the first time in around 20 years and they put on a good show.

I rather liked the last two Marillion albums as well as Marbles from 2004. The new one sounds to me something that will require a number of plays to fully appreciate. Some of the other post 90's stuff rather washes over you.

I know Fret.....and "Hollidays in Eden" was a rather good attempt

Still love 'Script...' And saw Marillion & Fish storming the Reading Festival in 83.

But I am an admirer of Steve 'h' Hogarth, remember seeing an up-and-coming band called The Europeans in the early 80's and thinking that they had a really good singer.

Interesting stuff, Slinger. The first track has shades of Hackett-era Genesis.
Worth further investigation.
