Loan Service
Re: Loan Service
Kaz..........
If you want the real diy "Master of Disaster" look no further than DQ.
If he has been dabbling, then he is probably in the local A+E ward.

Re: Loan Service
Doc, I will see you tomorrow night as promised.
Kazam, I know that this could be dangerous for my bank manager but it's a mission I had to accept

Re: Loan Service
I've raised the loan scheme on TAS and am waiting a reply from Martin. I think TAS is one way of getting AOS members aware as many are on both forums (since no point in trying to build bridges with Marco). His current stance (if hasn't been read) is that to allow the Doc back on would have to do the same with Marco . Not a workable solution I think. Anyway hope the mods will be acceptable to Kazam posting info there or I can do so myself.

Re: Loan Service
I have got the go ahead for Kazam to join TAS and post on the loan scheme. Just needs to keep within their trade rules so I suggest keeping communication re loans to PM or Email. As long as it's not sales / hard sell, just product awareness will be OK.

Re: Loan Service
Yes I have watched it with interest this afternoon, there must be much gnashing of teeth and manic stomping around in Wrexham I wonder who is getting the benefit of his email tirades this afternoon to work it off. I must admit to being pleasantly surprised by MartinT.

Re: Loan Service
UPDATE - I have added the Doc Mod speakers on as I think it will be an incentive to do some DIY if people hear them.
At the moment what is available for loan is.
P50
P90
Both can be fitted with stepped attenuators
A30
A40s
AP20
Phono1
Phono2
In either MM or MC
Cubettes
CUBE3
CUBE2
Doc Mods B&W
With the amps speaker cable will be loaned as well.
There will be only one of each obviously so there may end up being a wait and the item passed on.
I will see as time goes on what I can add to the list.

Re: Loan Service
Is Kazam going to put the list on TAS? If not I am willing to do so but will need contact details for those not willing to join HFS.

Re: Loan Service
Kaz (I think) is trying to get on one forum at a time so as not to seem too eager. At the moment grasshopper is walking the rice paper
Put it up with pleasure and link to this thread if they don't mind. I will let Kaz put up his contact details, and I can be contacted via the nva website.

Re: Loan Service
Hello all. Sorry for being rather quiet, the Doc's post above is about right. Rocky, your ground work is really appreciated, thank you
I've been reflecting upon some of the ideas that the good people here have put forward and think that we have something rather exciting in the making here..
