Just having a first listen to:
Dream Theater 'Distance Over Time'
What's the verdict?
It's certainly more accessible, a reminder of early albums like 'Images and Words'. Solid band, nice clear recording and production.
It Rocks!
I think it is a solid Dream Theatre album. "The Astonishing" was something of a one off.

Well, thank goodness for that.
Self-indulgent double concept LP's are the sort of thing that gives Prog a bad name.

Think it started with Tales from Topographic Oceans.

The Velvet Underground & Nico
I was watching Scooby Doo with my grandaughter recently and the episode featured a paradoy of this band and Andy "Warsaw".
