As a good marx man, I like to share the wealth.

So bradley wiggins at 9/4 to win gold in todays time trial is a steal, not been beaten in a TT for a year, just won le tour, its money in the bank.

Warning - investments made at bookmakers can go down as well as up, while every care was taken with this investment advise I accept no responsibility for losses and there is no bookmakes equivilent of the FSA ombudsmen.

Win or lose, as a matter of principle I don't gamble. I have members of my family in the trade. My brother in law Charles Chandler was chairman of Walthamstow dog stadium (now closed), and Victor Chandler his uncle owns one of the UK's leading bookmaking companies and on-line gambling sites, and one of the richest men in Britain. There are no rich gamblers only rich bookies.

You are of course correct and if truth be told I am very much a reformed gambler, but Wiggins winning was a fait accompli [no disrespect to Bradley, he was just head and shoulders]

Don't know how you get on with the Chandlers, but Victors affinity with Man U has meant he hasn't had any of my money, not that he needs it :D

So, Great Britain and Northern Ireland have won 6 gold medals, 6 silver and 6 bronze.

It's not the end of the world, is it?

They are only bits of metal, it is the human stories behind them and those that supposedly "failed" that is important. The Judoka lady who won silver at the moment of victory in the semi final just looked up and said thank you mummy, in there was everything as her mother had died of cancer and she did it for her, as her mother had taken her to a class and supported her in it from a young age.
