3 core mains cable used on NVA amps?

Unread post by Gazjam »

The Doc gave me a length of this which I rewired a linear psu with and gave a good improvement in sound quality.

Looking to source some more of this stuff, can anyone advise where I can pick some up?
CPC, Farnell etc maybe?

Cable jacket has embossed lettering:
"PK TSE <HAR> HD5VV-F 3 x 1.5mm(2) PX95"

Thanks.
I have HIfi n' stuff.

Daniel, how do you work out that I was not helpful ?

That Farnell cable is of Chinese origin. ;)

Does that make it bad ? Obviously not if Gazjam likes it.

No fisticuffs you two, :naughty:
Seriously though, thanks for the help chaps.

The cable actually sounds pretty good in a PSU application, rewired it internally with it.
Looking now to make a DC cable fromt the linear supply to my phono stage.
Assumed that same cable would be good for that too.

Any other suggestions that might even be better for DC cable?
Just in case there's something super-dooper I've missed!
I have HIfi n' stuff.

Spot on Dan, I KNEW there was a post where the Doc had linked to it.
Assumed it was in a PM, never thought to look in forum for it. :shifty:
Middle age ain't good for the memory...!

Thanks.
