Top tip - the book not to be revisiting just now is the Handmaids Tale. Though in this case Blessed be the Fruit(cake) seems a more appropriate salutation for whatever is left of the US.

Trump is getting worried, Wisconcin is a big one. It looks like he has maintained the support of the red neck numbskulls in the south, but it is slipping elsewhere as postal votes are counted.

Sky and CBS are showing Wisconsin to Biden.

Trump will request a recount (as allowed when the margin is less than 1%) but there are 20,000 votes in it, so only a delaying tactic.

Trump has demanded counting stop in Michigan...which is only a desperate tactic.

The way things are going it's Trump that will be relying on ballots counted after the election to stand any chance of overtaking Biden. I've also heard that the head of the US Postal Service is being dragged into court over undelivered (and uncounted) mail-in ballots in Florida.

Report that if ballot-counting was stopped now then Biden would win (just).

The thing is unless Johnson gets the test, track, and trace system sorted by the time we come out of lockdown the chances are we might as well have not bothered because it'll just end up with us having a third wave of infections, or a slightly delayed second wave. Nothing will have changed. Their motives are crap, but their fears are probably spot on, and I certainly don't trust Johnson, or Dildo to get the test, track, and trace, up and running properly inside four weeks.
