Re: Cubettes
NOW AVAILABLE FOR AUDITION IN SIDCUP
I am bloody useless at staining and varnishing wood so only one finish available - Black = £300
Available built but unfinished in raw wood to finish yourself or leave as is = £250. It is real wood so has a grain and looks quite nice in its raw state.
I thought about a kit, but the panel lining needs to be done by me.
These are available NOW as I have all the parts, just need to fit in the time to build, usual 30 day return if no likeee

Re: Cubettes
Reflecting on the May the Cubes be with you thread. A couple of days ago I was tempted to put another light coat of doping on these tweeters, which are not the Visaton ones as I couldn't cost them in for the price I wanted to do these speakers for. But it is always best to leave a couple of days for things to settle, and now IMO they don't need it. They are now surprisingly close to the Visaton musically, they were a bit gritty undoped.

Re: Cubettes
I'll follow your example Doc, and let the doping sit for a few days on the Monitor Audio tweeters.Happy you're in Mr. Speaker mode - we can all watch and learn.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Reflecting on the May the Cubes be with you thread.
