Hum though my T.C.S/T.A.S

Unread post by applemarc »

After installing all my power supplies in my nice new cabinet I noticed that I was now getting some hum from my Phono amp and I had already moved the pro/Phono away from the power supplies as far as I could so I have placed a 2mm sheet of copper plate under the pre then a granite amp stand under the pre and hum has been reduced significantly this may not work for everyone but only cost me £33 from ebay.

Try touching a wire connected to house earth to the copper sheet and see if it drops the noise more.
