Melco N1A

My brother has had delivered a Melco N1A music storage library which has been well reviewed in the press. This has been demo'ed against a dedicated computer which was built for him by a friend. I do not know what type of storage is inside the computer. The Melco is very good, possibly slightly smoother on female vocals but that could've been imagined. When playing Acoustic Alchemy - Back on the Case (a disc always used for demos) I felt it the computer gave a livelier presentation more to my liking although my brother said he could hear very little difference. Will he be paying £1600 for this unit, the answer is no. Were to next, possibly upgrading his DCS dac.
