Dates from approx 1990, all alluminium case but glued not bolted. Works perfectly just checked it through, changed some wires re-made some joints, everything working as should be.

A bit of fun 24 hour auction, bid here with posts, low start price £100.

Took inside pic while I was replacing some wires and checking it out. Best price bid by midnight tomorrow wins auction. P&P if UK £15.

NVA amps from that era still sound excellent - my 1986 A40 is still making fine music.

Get bidding - someone will be very happy with this ! ;)

would this be compatible with a TVC pre?

BTW it will go for the amount you bid, so must be over £100 even if £101 and say for example if you bid £120 you pay that not a pound over the lower bid like ebay - toooooooo feckin complicated. This is a real auction you pay what you bid. C'mon I need at least two to make an auction fun

£101 is a complete steal, would have charged about £200 listed at ebay. That 300va Avel Lindberg transformer cost about £25 even back then.

I will start you off at £101 Doc, could be just what I need to get on the NVA pre power ladder! Going to cost me a pre-amp as well though if I win though! :epop:

I can't remember what the cable is but it was my choice back at that time before we started to make interconnects. For extra £20 the winner can have them replaced by sockets, but I have been using them this evening they sound fine.
