Hi Paul,
I would have loved to join the Bake-Off tomorrow but unfortunately Austria (Vienna) is to far away to make this possibly.
This Bake-Offs are a great idea and I'm sure your's tomorrow will be very interesting, a lot to learn and most important fun.

I will follow, what will be posted about the phono stage comparisons - I only know Graham Slee's MM versions of Era Gold and Revelation - and it seems that from reading about the NVA Phono 2 here in this forum (with and without 2nd PSU) the phono 2 will be the one most true to real music. ;-)

Do you run the Graham Slee Revelation C with the PSU-1 stock ps or with a possible bigger (improved) ps? My experience is that also the Graham Slee range gains from a better / more powerful ps.

So, I will wait for the reports about your phono stage Bake-off with a lot of anticipation. :-) Hope, the Bake-off will be a lot of fun! :-)

By the way, I very much enjoyed your wonderful review on your experience with your NVA system. Your writing is very entertaining and shows your love for music! My experience with NVA currently is limited to the LS6. So, I can understand a bit, why you favor NVA products.

Best,
Norbert

Hi Norbert,

That would be quite a trip! But, if you do decide to pop over some time then please bring me a box of the apricot dumplings from Cafe Central

My Revelation C has the PSU1, which is an upgrade option over the 'green' supply. Trying a good linear supply with it would be interesting.

Paul, thanks for your reply.
I have noted to bring a box of apricot dumplings for you, in case a visit works out one day (and maybe some more Viennese sweets as we have a variety here...) ;-) Would be great if it worked out one day...

Please, let me know in case you visit Vienna the next time. Maybe, I can arrange a listening session or at least invite you for a coffee or some apricot dumplings at Cafe Central (my work place is located very near to Cafe C.).

I know the PSU-1 - as it came with both of my MM-versions of the Slee's - but a 24V dc supply a Viennese electronic engineer built for me some years ago has been an improvement for sure.

Best
Norbert

Big thanks to both Paul and Trev for holding and attending today's little soirée I enjoyed it immensely. I will write a few words about the stages we heard tomorrow when I have recovered from the almost 6 hours of driving Lol.
