Been doing some spacing out of kit this morning. After biamping, and introducing the phono 2 w/ 2nd supply, things were starting to get just a little cramped for my liking. Although I had always been careful to keep power supplies well away from head units, the extra spacing has undoubtedly given a further sense of ease to the music. Now that's sorted, I might just let the kids put the Xmas decorations up

I found the music improves lots when distancing transformers from other parts of the chain.

I love that tea trolley - the ultimate in portable hifi

We maintain separate homes. She will roll her eyes and laugh...but she won't mind lying on the settee listening to Schubert or such like while I'm cooking

So, you get best of both worlds, then
