At Vinyl-Ant's

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at Ant's, yesterday, with Ant, Steve The Shadow, Latteman and Antonio66 (and his better looking brother). Swapped some stories and some interesting records, and Steve brought his wonderful OTL amplifier over. Reckon we might have found the core members of another bake-off club, there...

I also picked up this 'grand lady' that Ant put together for me...

We enjoyed meeting everyone very much, and yes Savvy we've listened to 10,000 Maniacs (Unplugged) and Natalie Merchant (Tigerlily). It certainly is a fine looking TT, Ant's done you proud. I'm sure we'll meet up again and maybe try one or two different components.
We could even invite that cheeky young whippersnapper Karatestu.

Was nice to see everyone and I was quite glad nothing blew up or caught on fire, and that the 'grand lady' performed so well
And thanks to nick G for lending me an mc step up so the deck could be tested thoroughly before it went home.
That's the drawback to liking mm carts, not many other people use them so much.
I'll have to get a 'grand lady' badge made up for it paul
Also glad everyone enjoyed themselves too.
Right, have another 3 turntables to finish so I'd better get on with it.......
