My cabling was getting far too complex so I bought a super integrated and hi quality one box phono stage. 7 boxes down to 2. A significant improvement in SQ but it cost £000's. Still too many mains cables and running closer to interconnects than ideal. There was also the issue of having to turn everything on and off in a particular order to avoid hum and risk of speaker damage. So left powered up unless out for long period. Now everything stays in standby when not in use (except TT PS).
